Taking risk is basically FAITH.
Living the supernatural life always takes boldness, courage, and faith that God is going to show His powerful protection of grace. Faith and expectancy are key components to seeing the miraculous in our lives. We should “expect” to see it happen. Jesus healed “all” those who came to Him, so expect it. He never turned any one away.
We have to believe that something better is coming our way in the future. We place our faith and hope in an unseen Creator who displays His splendor all over the earth, sea and universe.
A “measure of faith” is placed in all of us but we must activate it by believing, reading and hearing testimonies or stories from the Scriptures and in the community of faith. Taking risk in something that seems impossible, sparks faith. Faith also pleases God.
All through the Old Testament and New Testament books, we read about one miracle after another. Crowds gathered to where Jesus and the disciples traveled because of the stories of faith and belief leading to miraculous healing transformations. Taking risk sometimes consists of sacrifice or inconvenience. The disciples gave up the comforts of home, secure jobs, and traveled many miles. They ministered to the outcasts of society. That spells R-I-S-K, and F-A-I-T-H.
Taking risk jumps us into the supernatural Kingdom of Heaven. We do not have to wait for eternity to experience this. Salvation, faith, and grace open the door now in the present. Grace is a gift from God our Father.
Each disciple took risk (faith) to participate in the supernatural, seeing signs and wonders. They were filled with Holy Spirit power. I have been privileged to these events several times throughout my life. Perhaps you have as well? Think on it.
If we stay comfortable, living the same routines, we most likely will not see God best plans for us. Moving forward spiritually takes obedience and risk.
Are you willing to take some risk? What has the Lord place in your heart? Take it if the Holy Spirit is prompting you. He prompts us by using scripture, people, events, and thoughts that won’t go away in your head, and it agrees with the Word of God. ( good not evil). The heart reflects your spirit and soul. The soul includes your mind, body, emotions and will. You have a will so you make the choices whether to obey (take risk or not).
Faith into the unknown may be scary but grace (all that you need to do it) is waiting for you. The more risk, the more spectacular the Lord shows His wondrous mighty hand in your life!
Do you take risk to surf? Sail? Rock-climb? Hang-glide? Bike off a steep hill? Swim in the ocean? Starting a new business? Praying for the sick and the lame? Drive a car in 4 lanes of traffic? Lol
All these events take faith, risk, expectancy, boldness, courage and willingness to obey to see the supernatural in your life.
Are you ready to take the next step?
2 Timothy 1:7 ” For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”.
GO FOR IT!
