Traveling into the unknown can cause stress, anxiety, fear, worry, insomnia, and insecurities. Who hasn’t experienced that? No-one!
Do you realize that all the emotions mentioned above are manifested as ” Fear of Failure”. You get a new job and you want to succeed, but exhibit some nervousness or you move across the ocean out of your comfort zone to another country. Perhaps you just had a divorce, or experienced a loss, then suddenly fear is standing right at the door of your heart and mind!
“Transitions in life” tend to stir up emotions in us and insecurities we never knew we had, eventually we need to face them. They show up at unexpected times to trigger uncertainty. No wonder God says 365 times in the bible for every day of the year, ” do not fear”. Life sometimes hits you out of no where or even after you thought you slayed that demon.
We are at an uncertain junction in history, so fear has popped it’s ugly head, but we do not have to accept it or bow down to it. We must place our trust in the LORD ALMIGHTY for our lives and for our country. We must stand, resist the enemy, and he will flee.
Isaiah 41:10 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
So why should we worry? It does no good.
In opposition, we should choose joy, hope, laughter, peace, unity, and praise! This will confuse, confound and leave the enemy of fear doubting his plan to stop you.
May you choose joy, excitement, boldness, courage, and strength on your new “UNKNOWN JOURNEY”. God has got your back! Move in FAITH, not fear.
