Rising to the Top

Has anyone ever taken the challenge to hike, bike, or rock-climb to the top of a mountain?

I did when I was younger, much younger, in my 20’s. Now, I hike foothills and flatland. I am still moving and climbing, just at a little lower altitude and slower. Ha! My daughter, however, fearlessly ventures 14,000′ foot mountains in Colorado. In fact, she took this beautiful panoramic view when she arrived at the top of one. How grand and vast the earth looks especially when we see it from the highest peaks. Absolutely stunning and beautiful!

My son, on the other hand, boldly rides a mountain bike up to the top of various mountains and hills for his adventure. Both climb mountains, but each has their own preferred way to achieve it.

People who choose to climb mountains, actually represent a reflection of spiritual and natural parallels. In other words, those who hike natural mountains are meant to climb a mountain in society with success and spiritual influence. Mountains of society according to a popular author and speaker, Lance Wallnau, are:

Family – Govn’t – Entertainment – Media – Church – Education – Business

It has always been Jesus heart to take or influence the nations in every sect of society.

Isaiah 26:7

Even those I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.

Gods heart was always to have His children of all races in His house (the body of Christ) and send them out ( missionaries) to influence, train and equip to advance the Kingdom of Heaven for His cause.

“You” are His child, young or old, whether you know it or not. Those who acknowledge and accept Jesus and love Him belong in His family. God wants His kids back with Him for eternity.

God gifted each of you to lead and impact a mountain of society. Your interests give you insight into that place, but God ultimately chooses your mountain.

Mark 13-14

13 Then Jesus went up on the mountain and called for those He wanted, and they came to Him. 14 He appointed twelve of them, whom He designated as apostles, to accompany Him, to be sent out to preach,…”

Jesus often went to the mountain to pray. He spent time with the Father and then chose His friends (disciples) then they came to Him to go out in the community to preach and teach (influence society) not just in the church but in the marketplace ( business), prisons, govn’t, education, family, etc. Note: Jesus “appointed and called” those He wanted and they “came” ( answered the call ).

Each of us are to do the same. God has chosen your mountain. Will you come? The clues are inside you. Remember, it is in the “Lords timing” when we arrive to the peak of influence. We first need maturity in our character. But as you probably concluded, the assent begins at the path at the bottom. Easy at first, but as we climb it becomes more difficult and challenging. It takes time. Anyone who climbs can agree with that! Climbing mountains isn’t easy but it is worth it when you reach the top! It’s spectacular!

May You Take Your Spot And Rise To The Top!

Hi there everyone, my name is Brenda. My intention for this blog is to help people identify their gifts, talents, and purpose more clearly, and to lead you down the path to success. Once you have insight and clues, natural and spiritually, the light comes on and the journey begins. Yes there are skills to acquire but will you be satisfied? Life is more than making money. It's recognizing "YOUR" God given talents & skills for a bigger purpose.
